Who We Are For the last nine years, Tenace Incubation has been building brands through consulting, incubation, and distribution in Southern California. After the COVID-19 pandemic, we noticed brands were having a difficult time finding customizable sampling services. We created Tenace Incubation Market Sampling to fulfill this need. What started as a program only for Tenace Incubation brands has now grown to service all types of brands, inside and outside of the incubator.
How We Work We schedule, staff, and recap every demo and event all on the behalf of the brand!
Covered Territories We cover almost all of Santa Barbara County, Ventura County, Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and San Diego County.
Example of Typical Demo Day
Our brand ambassador (BA) is scheduled for a standard three hour shift at a grocery store in Newport Beach, CA.
11:00am BA arrives at the store and asks to speak with department manager, who lets them know where the product is stocked and where to set up in the store.
11:15am BA has finished setting up the demo station and begins promoting the product!
11:15am to 1:40pm BA is actively engaging with customers by warmly greeting them as they pass the station, sharing pertinent product knowledge, maintaining cleanliness standards, checking the shelves, and having fun!
1:40pm BA begins to break down he demo station and return product to shelves.
1:50pm BA Lets the department manager know how many units were sold during the demo, and if they have any feedback for the BA to include in their recap report. After checking out, the BA completes the recap report for the last ten to fifteen minutes of the demo.
2:00pm BA has completed their shift, and all pertinent feedback provided will be qualified in a biweekly report sent to our point of contacts for the brand /product managers.
Commonly Asked Questions
Do we need to be a part of Tenace Incubation? No, not at all. Almost half of the brands we represent are not associated with Tenace Incubation outside of Market Sampling.
How much advanced notice do you need? We prefer to plan and schedule a month in advance. That being said, we have been known to be incredibly flexible with several examples of scheduling and executing within a few hours.
